PDFs, scans and photos are read by AI and rebuilt as an editable Word file, with stamps, signatures and photos carried across. Recordings are transcribed, then translated line by line with timecodes. Your linguist works through the draft in a bilingual editor with your translation memory, glossary and automatic checks, and saves the finished translation to the job.

Which files can AI translation handle?
Word documents, PDFs, scanned documents, photos, and audio or video recordings. Word files keep their own layout; PDFs, scans and photos are rebuilt as an editable Word file; recordings become a time-coded transcript with its translation.
Who sees AI translation drafts?
Only your staff and the linguist assigned to the job. Drafts are kept apart from the translated files your client can see, and a translation reaches your client only when your team saves it as the final file.
Is AI included in every plan?
AI translation and the Ask AI assistant are included in Scale and Enterprise. On Starter and Growth you can try them free: 10 AI-translated files, and 10 Ask AI conversations for each user. The quote assistant, inbox to enquiry, job post assistant, bank reconciliation and template designer come with every plan.
Will the AI send emails or change data by itself?
No. It drafts and suggests. Messages go out, and records change, only when someone on your team confirms.
Which AI does LinguisTriks use?
Enterprise AI services such as Microsoft Azure OpenAI, called from our servers, rather than consumer chatbots. Under Microsoft's Azure OpenAI terms, prompts and answers aren't used to train the models.
Can the assistant see everything in our system?
It can only use a fixed set of approved tools, such as finding linguists or checking a quote's status, and it works inside your agency's own database. Drafts written for linguists never include client names or prices.
Can we turn AI off?
Yes. AI is off until an admin switches it on, and it can be switched off again at any time.
