Who is LinguisTriks for?
Translation and interpreting agencies of every size, from small teams to established language service providers. It handles the whole job: enquiry, quote, booking, delivery, invoice and linguist payment.
Do we need to install anything?
No. Your agency gets its own secure portal at yourname.linguistriks.com, and it works in any modern browser on desktop, tablet or phone. Your clients and linguists get their own portals too, and the linguist portal is designed for phones.
Can you move our data across from spreadsheets or another system?
Yes. Installation and onboarding are included, and we can help bring across your clients, linguists and rates so you start with everything in place.
How quickly can we get started?
Ask for a free trial and your portal is usually ready within one working day. During onboarding we set it up with your details, logo, templates and team, help bring across your clients, linguists and rates, and train your staff.
Is there a long contract?
No. Plans are monthly or annual and you can change or cancel at any time. If you cancel, you won't be charged for the next period, and your data is yours to export.
Does it work with Xero?
Yes. Each agency connects its own Xero organisation. Client invoices, payments received, linguist bills and payouts are sent to Xero, and invoices marked paid in Xero are marked paid in LinguisTriks too.
Can we run remote interpreting sessions in it?
Yes. Each meeting runs in your own video or audio meeting room, or as a Microsoft Teams meeting created for the booking. Everyone gets a personal join link, a waiting room holds anyone else until a host lets them in, and sessions can be recorded and transcribed live.
Can our clients order and pay for a translation online?
Yes. With instant translation switched on, a client uploads a document in their portal, sees the price at once and pays by card or PayPal. The AI draft goes to your team, and the client receives the translation after a person has checked it.
How does the AI work, and can we switch it off?
AI drafts, suggests and answers questions; people stay in charge. Anything that sends a message or changes data waits for a person to confirm. AI stays off until an admin at your agency turns it on.
Is our data kept separate from other agencies?
